Some of Brooke's Favorite Recipes!
Asian BBQ Chicken Marinade
Use with 4 large chicken breasts
¼ c Brown Sugar, packed
¼ c Soy Sauce
1 T Lime Juice
½ t Crushed Red Pepper
¼ t Curry powder
3 cloves Garlic, minced or pressed
Combine all ingredients in a large zip-loc bag or a baking dish. Add chicken and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Use desired cooking method until chicken is done.
Tomato Macaroni Soup
Serves 6
1 lb Lean ground beef
2 ea Green onion, chopped
1-1/2 c Large elbow macaroni, uncooked
1-1/2 qt Water
1 c Ketchup
3 T Steak sauce
¼ t Garlic powder
1 T Brown sugar
1 med Carrot, grated
6 oz Tomato paste
16 oz can Diced tomatoes
3 t Worcestershire sauce
Brown beef and onion; set aside
Cook macaroni according to package directions; set aside.
Combine rest of ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Add beef and onion; simmer 5-10 minutes longer.
Add macaroni; stir well and serve. |
